Role Description The Veterinarian is a full-time, on-site role based at North Harbour Veterinary Clinic in Navotas. This role involves performing clinical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and developing treatment plans for companion animals. Daily responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic test results, prescribing medications, performing routine procedures, and providing preventive care such as vaccinations and wellness checks. The Veterinarian will communicate clearly with pet caregivers, explain findings and treatment options, and maintain accurate medical records. Collaboration with veterinary nurses, technicians, and administrative team members is expected to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) with eligibility to practice in the region.
  • Experience in small animal clinical practice, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Proficiency in interpreting laboratory and diagnostic results (blood work, urine tests, imaging) and using them to guide patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with pet caregivers and collaborating with clinic staff.
  • Ability to perform routine procedures and minor surgeries, and to manage anesthesia and pain control safely.
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Attention to detail in medical record-keeping, time management, and organization in a busy clinical environment.
  • Comfort working on-site full time in Navotas and contributing positively to a team-centered clinic culture.
