Environment, Health and Safety Manager Jobs in Sirdaryo, Sirdaryo Region, Uzbekistan at Yashil Ferma

Title: Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Company: Yashil Ferma

Yashil Ferma is an Uzbek–Hungarian joint venture building a fully integrated poultry business: breeder and broiler farms, hatchery, feed mill, slaughterhouse and processing plant, and warehouses. We are in the construction and ramp-up phase, which means the person who takes this role will not inherit an HSE system – they will design it, write it, and embed it before the first bird arrives.

  • HSE policy, strategy and the annual plan, built to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Contractor and construction-phase HSE: pre-qualification, HSE plans, permit-to-work, LOTO, NCRs, stop-work notices, pre-handover readiness verification

  • Slaughterhouse and processing hazards: machine guarding, knives and cutting equipment, wet and slippery floors, cold environments, COâ‚‚ stunning where applicable
  • Fire, industrial safety and emergency preparedness, including hazardous production facility registration and expertise (ammonia refrigeration, steam boilers, pressure vessels, gas networks)
  • Occupational health and industrial hygiene: medical examinations, exposure monitoring, respiratory protection programme, PPE
  • Environmental management: waste (manure, litter, mortalities, hatchery, slaughterhouse by-products, veterinary and chemical waste), wastewater, emissions and odour, water use, statutory environmental reporting
  • Incident reporting and investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action and lessons learned across all sites
  • The HSE training plan, briefing system, safety walks and the safety culture programme
  • The structure, recruitment, development and budget of the HSE function
