Role Description The Inside Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves managing inbound and outbound sales calls, qualifying leads, and nurturing prospects within the life sciences and related segments. Daily responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, preparing and following up on quotations, coordinating with external sales and distribution teams, and updating the CRM with accurate sales data. The person in this role will liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses, support marketing campaigns, and contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets. The Inside Sales Executive is expected to build strong relationships with customers, provide product information and solutions, and support post-sales follow-up to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage scientific and technical customers over phone and email.
  • Proficiency in inside sales activities, including lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing opportunities.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and basic data reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to understand and explain life sciences products, with a keen interest in laboratory technologies and solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field; a business or sales qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in inside sales, customer support, or technical sales in life sciences or healthcare is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain a professional, customer-centric approach.
