Exciting opportunity available for an experienced veterinary technician! Fenton River Vet is a fast-paced, progressive, privately owned, expanding practice located in Tolland, CT. We are looking for someone who enjoys being a team player in an exciting, upbeat environment working side by side with our fantastic team of veterinarians, technicians, and customer service representatives to provide our patients with the best care possible. Our practice was built on a foundation of always providing exceptional customer service. Although we enjoy teaching, preference will be given to technicians who are experienced with providing routine outpatient care and urgent care services. Desired skills include client communication, assisting with examinations, laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, imaging, and hospital care. The ideal candidate would have an upbeat attitude, be hardworking, organized, and willing to learn new things. There is also the opportunity to work with all species of animals including pocket pets, reptiles and even goats or sheep, basically anything that walks through the door!
