As an Executive Assistant, you will become a trusted extension of your client's team, supporting them across scheduling, coordination, communication, and operational execution.
Role Overview
Executive Assistants work directly with executives and business leaders to manage priorities, improve efficiency, and create leverage in their day-to-day operations.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars and scheduling priorities
- Coordinate meetings and stakeholder communications
- Arrange and manage travel logistics
- Track action items and follow-ups
- Support project coordination and administrative workflows
- Assist with event planning and logistics
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Professional demeanor and executive presence
- Comfortable working with technology and AI-enabled tools
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Previous experience in executive support, operations, customer service, administration, or project coordination is preferred
Training Program
Successful candidates will participate in Athena's structured training program designed to prepare Executive Assistants for client-facing responsibilities.
The program includes:
- Instructor-led learning
- Practical simulations and assessments
- Communication and executive presence development

- Performance evaluations to ensure client readiness
Not all trainees successfully complete the program, as Athena maintains a high quality bar to ensure client readiness.
