The position also includes maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices in animal husbandry and agricultural operations.
Qualifications
- Academic background in Animal Science (Zootecnia), Biology, Veterinary Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of livestock management, animal welfare, and basic animal health monitoring.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and report biological or zootechnical data to support decision-making.
- Familiarity with agricultural practices, feed and nutrition planning, and sustainable farm management.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to work on-site in a rural/agricultural environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Good communication skills in Portuguese; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Previous experience in farms, research centers, or agricultural enterprises is preferred but not mandatory.
