Veterinary Assistant (1 yrs exp req)
The applicant should be able to provide compassionate care to our patients. Also be out going and a team player. The job involves assisting the veterinarian in surgery, exam room and with hospital patients care. Must maintain kennel area and clinic in a clean orderly condition. Must be willing to cross train and multitask to all areas of the clinic. We are looking for a team player with a good work ethic and the desire to learn and grow. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for several hours at a time. After training must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Would prefer one year experience in animal care and welfare to apply or equivalent education.
This position will be for Wednesday 8-12 and Thursday 8-12 and Friday 8-5. Also every other Saturday 8:30 to 11:30
