Title: Workshop Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of vehicles and heavy machinery.
Ensure workshop safety, environmental compliance, and proper use and maintenance of tools and facilities.
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer, company, quality, and safety standards.
Develop maintenance schedules to maximize fleet availability and minimize downtime.
Control maintenance costs, budgets, work orders, spare parts, tools, and workshop resources.
Supervise, guide, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel and monitor team KPIs.
Inspect repair quality, troubleshoot technical problems, and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
Maintain accurate maintenance, equipment, spare parts, and inventory records and prepare performance reports.
Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and Stores to ensure timely availability of vehicles, parts, and materials.
Recommend improvements to maintenance processes to reduce costs and improve fleet reliability and efficiency.
Qualification
BSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 8 years of related experience out of which at least 4 years in managerial position.
Skills required
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the workshop management theories and best practices
Knowledge about the products represented by the Company
Familiarity with relevant rules and legislative and regulatory requirements
Ability to provide vision, strategic plan, setting direction and the ability to work with new ideas and concepts.
