Our growing small animal practice is seeking a licensed veterinary technician or assistant for approximately 35 hours per week. Candidates interested in part time hours will also be considered. Schedule is Monday-Friday with daytime hours (no weekends or holidays)! We are looking for a motivated, friendly individual with excellent communication skills. Clinic experience is preferred although new veterinary technician graduates will be considered.
Job duties include:
- assisting the doctor during patient examinations
- accurately taking medical history
- running lab tests
- assisting with x-rays
- data entry, preparing medications & vaccinations
- assisting with hospitalized and surgical patients
Must be able to stand for the majority of each shift, lift up to 40lbs consistently, and be able to maneuver stairs.
