Veterinary Technician Manager
Key Responsibilities of a Veterinary Technician Manager:
Leadership and Management: Supervises and lead a team of veterinary technicians, including assistants, and other staff members.
Staffing and Scheduling: Work with the Practice Manages on staffing needs and schedules.
Training and Development:Provides ongoing training and mentorship to the team, ensuring they maintain and develop their skills and knowledge.
Performance Management:Conducts performance reviews, addresses employee concerns.
Quality Assurance:Ensures that all veterinary technicians adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of care.
Communication and Collaboration:Facilitates communication between the technical team, other departments, and hospital leadership.
Resource Management: Oversees inventory of equipment and supplies , and inventory ordering
Emergency Preparedness:May be involved in ensuring the hospital is prepared for emergencies and that the team is trained in emergency procedure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
