What You’ll Be Working On
Engage, communicate, and educate clients
Primary job functions include: animal restraint, blood draws, lab processing, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring and administration of medication
Getting and maintaining patient information
Maintaining hospital supplies
Assisting with hospital work flow
Grow your skill set with training, mentorship, and continuous education opportunities
Qualifications
Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology required
Permitted to work as a licensed veterinary technician in the state of New York required (or the ability to become licensed in the state of New York)
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a licensed veterinary technician required
Experience working on dental cleanings, dental radiographs, venipucture, catheter placement, and anesthesia required
Demonstrates compassion for patients and clients
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
