We are seeking a veterinary technician to start at Monarch Veterinary Hospital in South Jordan. Looking for experienced technicians to join the team and assist with seeing rooms, surgeries, and overall patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor patients after surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by following proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in handling techniques to ensure the safety of both the animal and staff.
- Strong knowledge of pet care practices including medication administration and husbandry.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology.
- Experience with aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments during procedures.
