Responsibilities
- Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and ensure interactions reflect compassionate care.
- Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
- Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure pets receive excellent care.
- Demonstrate Compassion and Empathy: provide a calming presence, treating each pet like your own.
- Provide Essential Patient Care: assist the medical team with hands-on care while upholding high standards of compassion and respect.
- Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate needs of veterinarians and technicians to maintain a smooth, collaborative workflow.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: uphold hospital standards through upkeep and equipment maintenance.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A passion for excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work independently or with direction.
- Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
- Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills (laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a strong asset.
- Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
