Job Summary
St. Francis Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist!We are looking for a reliable, professional, and compassionate veterinary receptionist with previous veterinary hospital experience to join our team.
Experience is REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
- Check patients in and out
- Process payments and estimates
- Assist with medical records and client information
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary technicians
- Handle prescription requests and medication questions appropriately
- Maintain an organized and professional reception area
- Assist with the daily flow of a busy veterinary hospital
We are looking for someone who is:
- Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and their owners
- Professional, friendly, dependable, and organized
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- An excellent communicator
- Comfortable handling difficult or emotional client situations
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Familiar with veterinary terminology, idexx-cornerstone and ezy-vet
