Duties
- Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Handle medical collections efficiently while maintaining accuracy in billing and payment processing
- Maintain accurate records using veterinary software, including patient histories, treatment notes, and laboratory results
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments
- Contribute to a clean, organized reception area that promotes pet care excellence and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with veterinary team members on medical-surgical cases involving companion animals or equine patients
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or similar role within a veterinary clinic environment
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and pet care best practices
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, client communication, and front desk operations
- Proficiency in veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment scheduling
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift animals or supplies as needed, and perform routine cleaning duties
