Veterinary Receptionist Jobs in Bradley, IL at Bradley Animal Hospital
We currently have an opening for a full-time veterinary receptionist. This is not a typical receptionist position, this is a very high-paced position. You are required to be on your feet for a large portion of the day, as well as occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs. Handling of dogs and cats are required. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 5pm, and Saturday from 7:30am until 12pm. We technically stay until the job is complete, which means you are expected to work slightly past closing, until all patients are checked out. You will get one consistent weekday off per week. There is a one hour lunch break at noon or 1pm.

Duties:
– Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
– Collect and update patient information in the computer system
– Assist with filing and organizing medical records
– Provide general information to clients about services offered at the clinic
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
– Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
– Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of veterinary software systems
– Compassion for animals and their owners
We are an animal hospital so handling of pets is a requirement from time to time.
Starting pay is $15.00 with the potential to increase within the first few months.
