We are looking for a veterinary technician!!
Someone with a happy, positive and upbeat attitude who is willing to learn and grow is essential. You will need excellent communication skills as well as great organizational abilities. You will also need to be familiar with animal restraint, placing IV’s, catheters, performing radiographs and monitoring patients under anesthesia.
You should also be acquainted with assisting the Veterinarian in documenting medical records and calculating and preparing For surgical procedures.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
~ MUST have 1-2 years experience in Veterinary Hospital. This is Required
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to lift 50 pound
- Have the availability to work a half-shift on one or two Saturdays per month
