OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their pets. This is a safe place for all!The Veterinary Receptionist primary duty is interacting with clients and coordinating communication between staff members and the clients.JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide top notch service to our clients and patients ensuring they feel welcome and comfortableProviding compassionate and diplomatic client service to allAnswer and triage phone calls to the appropriate staff memberScheduling appointmentsMonitor client flowMaintaining computer recordsSuggesting appropriate heartworm and flea and tick products and other services to clientsKeeping the reception area sanitized and well maintainedCollecting payments for servicesREQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:At least six months of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Assistant is preferredAvailable every other Saturday from 7:45 am to 1:30 pmAvailable Mondays 7:45 am to 5 pmAvailable Mondays or Thursdays from 7:45 am to 8 pmAble to work 10-13 hour shiftsGood critical thinking and problem solving skillsThe ability to get along with fellow staff members and keep a positive attitude*****If you meet the above mentioned requirements and feel like we would be a good fit, please fee free to email me your resume, current availability, and desired hours!*****’Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities or skills required for this position.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingContinuing education creditsDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planUniform allowanceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
