Binghamton Animal Clinic is looking for a part-time receptionist to join its team! BAC is a walk-in clinic that offers routine companion pet care, flexible, non-emergent services for pet owners in our community. We are looking for someone who is able to provide a kind, patient and educated first impression of our clinic!
The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
- Multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to answer basic animal care and medication questions.
- Filling medications prescribed by the doctor, authorizing online prescriptions approved by the doctor, etc.
- Completing financial transactions and drawer reconciliation.
- Strong communication with DVM, team members & our community’s pet owners.
- Working with Avimark (veterinary computer software), email & communication via text on our Weave system.
- The willingness to learn!
Job Type: Part Time, clinic is open 9-5 daily & 9-3 Saturdays
- Must be available for Saturday shift
Pay: Negotiable depending upon prior experience
