Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Our Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for processing medication and food requests, procuring supplies, and assisting in inventory controls. Requirements
Competently speak and write the English language
Ability to practice good money handling skills
Efficiently perform clerical, cleaning, and personalized pet care with safe restraint practices
Physically able to stand, move, and bend for prolong periods of time
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
Embrace commitment to follow Safety Requirements
Actively promote a positive, professional presence with staff, clients, and guests
Responsibilities
Professionally connect with clients in person, via telephone, and software system
Exhibit a technical knowledge of pharmaceutical products and nutrition items available
Oversee medication and diet requests and processes
Assist in inventory duties and specialty merchandise
Process invoices and collect payments, followed by daily reconciliation
Practice proper sanitization and cleaning routines
Participate in monthly staff meetings and continued education when offered to better the services and products of the hospital
Professionally deescalate sensitive situations and show empathy when appropriate
Maintain inventory and housekeeping duties of designated zone and assist with needed duties of the hospital
