Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures.
Handle and restrain animals safely to ensure their comfort and safety.
Maintain cleanliness of the clinic, including examination rooms, surgical areas, and kennels.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a veterinary clinic is preferred.
Knowledge of animal handling techniques is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
Ability to follow instructions given by management and self motivation to complete necessary tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. They must also be able to work in close spaces with animals and other employees.
