Our growing practice is seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Technician. We are a busy small animal clinic located in Morrilton. Great work environment with potential to learn and grow with our team. No nights, weekends, or holidays!Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:Basic groomingAnswering phones & helping with front desk duties as neededPatient handling and restraintBasic animal careAdministering medicationsAble to obtain samples (feces, urine, blood, etc…) for laboratory testingMonitor patientsOperate blood machinesSurgical patient monitoring: anesthesia and vital signsHelp with x-raysPlacing IV catheters and administering IV fluidsAssisting doctor in surgery and exam roomsBasic cleaningMust have exceptional customer service skillsMust excel at multitaskingMust be responsible, dependable, & hardworkingMust be able to lift at least 50lbs and to stand for long periods of timeThe right applicant must be able to work well in a team environment, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a dedicated work ethic, provide excellent client/patient care, and be willing to learn from our team.
