We are currently seeking a Part-Time to Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to work in a Customer Service Representative (CSR) role at our busy and growing practice.
This position is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who enjoys client interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the unique needs of a veterinary hospital. While the primary focus of this role is customer service and reception duties, a strong veterinary background is essential.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer phones and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage appointment flow
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients
- Support the veterinary team with patient care and administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a positive and organized reception area
- Deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating compassion for both pets and their owners
Qualifications
Required
- Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
- Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, compassionate, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
