We are currently seeking a Part-Time to Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to work in a Customer Service Representative (CSR) role at our busy and growing practice.

This position is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who enjoys client interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the unique needs of a veterinary hospital. While the primary focus of this role is customer service and reception duties, a strong veterinary background is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Answer phones and respond to client inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and manage appointment flow
  • Process payments and maintain accurate patient records
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients
  • Support the veterinary team with patient care and administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain a positive and organized reception area
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating compassion for both pets and their owners

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
  • Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, compassionate, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
