Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Perform restraint, TPRs, sample collection, and patient monitoring
- Provide care and comfort to hospitalized and surgical patients
- Maintain clean and organized treatment, surgery, and exam areas
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and team members
- Help keep the daily flow running smoothly by anticipating needs
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant (preferred)
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats
- Positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail and good organization
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
Schedule
- Full-time (32-40 hours weekly) or Part-time (20–30 hours weekly)
- Monday–Friday only
- No weekends
- Daytime schedule, no evenings
Compensation & Benefits
- $17–$22 per hour, depending on experience
