Full-time Veterinary Assistant wanted for our well established centrally located veterinary practice in Kansas City, MO. We are interested in someone with good communication skills, a strong work ethic that is interested in providing a high level of care while enjoying their job and moving forward with our practice. Our practice has significantly grown over the past year, in need of a well qualified individual that wants to join our committed team. We provide full-service veterinary care for our clients and patients.
Equipment: Electronic medical records, teaching touch screen digital microscope, Tono-pen, cryo-probe, electrocautery, 30W Cutting Edge surgical LASER, Cutting Edge Therapeutic LASER (w/acupuncture, dental, large/small probes), Sonoscope Diagnostic Ultrasound, multiple pediatric scales, lobby scale, two exam room lift tables w/scales, multiple otoscopes/opthalmoscopes, wet table, Ultrasonic dental scaler , two anesthic machines, two Cardell Touch anesthetic monitoring machines, Bair hugger, Electric lift surgical table with heat, three Heska fluid pumps.
Approximately 30-32 hours/week. Schedule will be based on a 4 to 4 1/2 day work week. Expected to work with veterinarians and fellow team members to complete tasks associated with medicine, surgery, dental procedures, anesthetic monitoring, radiographs, ultrasound, labwork, etc. Competitive compensation for qualified applicants.
Daily requirements include: staff and client communication for medical cases, phone calls, labwork results, and relaying veterinary recommendations for needed follow-up.
A small animal veterinary hospital located in the South Plaza Neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri since 1984. We are a progressive small animal practice under new ownership. We have been making updates of the facility, medicine, practice software, and staff management. Our practice is centrally located near the famous Country Club Plaza with a well established client base from the local neighborhood, nearby apartments/condos, and throughout the Kansas City metro area. Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM
