Veterinary Assistants are responsible for the care of all hospitalized or boarded animals, including cleanliness of cages, runs and ward areas. They are also responsible for all processes that help the veterinarian better focus on their care and tasks for the animals in the care of Petvet365.

Provides compassionate care to patients and clients with strong Fear FreeTM principles.
Provides compassionate care to patients.
Receives animals to be admitted, is responsible for their proper identification and for recording their respective locations.
Releases animals to their owners as directed by the doctor; ensures that every animal released is clean and properly groomed.
Education & Professional Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Fear Free Certification is required.
Two years of experience as a veterinary assistant is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
Ability to stand 8+ hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
