Duties:
– Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing medical care to animals
– Handle and restrain animals during examinations, treatments, and procedures
– Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
– Monitor vital signs of animals and report any abnormalities to the veterinarian
– Prepare examination rooms and surgical suites for procedures
– Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments
– Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
– Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures
– Provide post-operative care to animals recovering from surgery
– Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and proceduresRequirements:
– Previous experience is required
– Knowledge of veterinary assistant duties and responsibilities
– Familiarity with veterinary terminology
– Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits
- $15.50-18.00/hour (based on experience)
