Full Job Description
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Assistant at a busy practice in the heart of MidCity. Our business hours are Monday-Friday from 8am until 6pm and Saturday from 9am until 2pm, and technicians/kennel assistants also have weekend and holiday walking shifts. We would prefer applicants have at least 1 year animal handling experience. Duties include animal handling, assisting doctors with surgery and other procedures, taking x-rays, performing dental cleanings, drawing blood, running laboratory equipment, kennel cleaning, bathing & general housekeeping duties. Applicants must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
