Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Veterinarian role based in San Jacinto, CA. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and conducting surgical procedures for small animals. Additional responsibilities include consulting with pet owners about their pets' health needs, educating them on preventive care, and collaborating with a team of veterinary technicians and staff to ensure excellent patient care. The role demands maintaining accurate medical records and staying updated on the latest developments in veterinary medicine.
Qualifications
- Experience in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals, including proficiency in performing surgical procedures
- Strong skills in patient examination, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning
- Effective communication skills to educate and assist pet owners in making informed decisions about their pets' care
- Ability to work collaboratively with veterinary teams and support staff to provide the highest standard of animal healthcare
- Strong organizational skills to manage medical records, treatment plans, and follow-ups accurately
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent and a valid veterinary license for practicing in California
- Commitment to continued education and staying current with advancements in veterinary practices and technology
