Job role
- Designing and delivering practical courses in Intelligent Robotics, covering robotics fundamentals, sensors and actuators, embedded control, robot programming, computer vision, AI for robotics, autonomous systems, and responsible use of intelligent technologies.
- Developing hands-on labs, demonstrations, and real-world projects involving robotic arms, mobile robots, IoT-enabled robots, computer vision systems, automation systems, and intelligent control applications.
- Guiding students to design, build, test, deploy, document, and present end-to-end robotics solutions using industry-relevant tools such as Arduino, ESP32/ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, ROS/ROS2, Python, C/C++, OpenCV, MQTT,and AI/ML frameworks.
- Supervisingstudent robotics projects with emphasis on innovation, practical problem-solving,teamwork, safety, system integration, deployment readiness,and ethical use of intelligent systems.
- Continuouslyupdating learning content, tools, and project activitiesto reflect current robotics technologies, industrypractices, and emerging trends.
- Mentoringlearners and supporting their participation in robotics competitions, innovation challenges, appliedresearch, exhibitions, hackathons, and industry-linked projects.
- Contributing to RCI’s research, innovation, and skillsdevelopment agenda through practicalrobotics initiatives, prototypes, partnerships,and knowledge-sharingactivities.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems,Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on industry experience in robotics, intelligentsystems, automation, embedded systems, AI, IoT, computer vision, or related areas, with proven ability to design and implement practical robotic or intelligent automation solutions.
- Strong practical skills in robotics hardware and software, includingsensors, actuators, microcontrollers, control systems, robot programming, embedded systems, and system integration.
- Experience working with relevant toolsand platforms such as Arduino,ESP32/ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, ROS/ROS2, Python, C/C++, OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch, MQTT, or similar technologies.
- Ability to develop and guide real-world robotics projects involving areas such as autonomous systems, robotic arms, mobile robots, computer vision, IoT-based control, human-machine interaction, and intelligent automation.
- Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and mentoring skills, with willingness to guide learners through practical and project-based robotics training.
