Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Oracle database environments.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, patching, security, high availability, and Oracle middleware administration.
Experience with Oracle WebLogic, SSL certificate management, and Single Sign-On (SSO) is highly desirable.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c administration.
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard administration.
- Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
- Experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure installation and management. Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
- Experience in database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
- Good understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Strong knowledge of database security, user management, roles, and privileges.
- Experience with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing and managing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Oracle databases.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC clusters and high-availability architectures.
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server installation, administration, and patching.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting SSL/TLS certificates, Java Keystores (JKS), Truststores, and Oracle Wallets.
- Experience implementing and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) using LDAP, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
- Knowledge of Oracle Exadata, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Familiarity with automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Grafana, or Prometheus.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases across development, test, and production environments.
- Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance.
- Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and version upgrades.
- Configure and manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and clustered database environments.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning using RMAN.
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Implement database security best practices, including user management, roles, and privileges. Install, configure, administer, and patch Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Deploy, configure, and support Java-based enterprise applications hosted on WebLogic.
- Configure, install, renew, and troubleshoot SSL/TLS certificates, including Java Keystores (JKS), Truststores, and Oracle Wallets.
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using LDAP, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to Oracle Database, WebLogic, SSL, and SSO, and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, network, and security teams during deployments, maintenance activities, and change implementations.
- Monitor storage utilization, perform capacity planning, and ensure database availability.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and disaster recovery documentation.
