YEAR-ROUND WORK IS AVAILABLE IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK SNOW SEASON.
This is NOT an entry-level position;Candidates must have prior experience in Vegetation Control pesticide application. Animal and Pest Spray Tech experience is a plus, but not required for licensing. MDARD licenses needed include:
Core, Right of Way; 6; 3A & 3B.
STARTING RATE or MINIMUM Rate of Pay is $19 PER HOUR, which may increase based on experience and certifications/licenses.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
State Pesticide Licenses: The role requires MDARD pesticide licenses.
Valid Driver’s License: Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license.
Chauffeur’s Endorsement: Necessary for this role.
Previous
Experience:
At least 1 year as a Landscape Pesticide Technician.
DOT Medical Card: Preferred; if not available, you must pass a medical exam including a drug test (Federal requirement).

Here’s what you’d do:
The Spray Technician reports to the Spray Foreman and provides guidance to other spray crew members.
Responsibilities include:
Spray application of chemicals
Adherence to chemical safety protocols
Completing assigned tasks
Following instructions accurately
You might be a good fit if you have:
Ability to obtain a QAL
Basic knowledge of plant materials
Proficiency in English & Spanish (oral and written)
