We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
Utilize retail math skills to manage stock levels, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate processing of sales and returns.
Engage with customers to promote products through upselling techniques, enhancing their shopping experience.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-stocked and visually appealing.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in customer interaction and store operations.
Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred.
Strong basic math skills to assist with transactions and inventory management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Familiarity with retail math concepts and stock management practices is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
