We are recruiting on behalf of an established small animal general practice in Orlando that is looking to build a regular, ongoing relationship with a dependable Relief Veterinarian.
The hospital is completely open to discussing which weekdays you are available. Whether you are seeking one consistent day each week, several regular shifts or a schedule that changes around your existing commitments, the team is willing to explore a working pattern that suits the right veterinarian.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants the flexibility of relief work alongside the familiarity of returning to the same hospital. You will have the chance to get to know the team, clients, systems and working environment, without needing to adjust to a different practice with every booking.
The position will involve a varied small animal general practice caseload, expected to include wellness appointments, preventative care, sick visits, puppy and kitten checks, chronic disease management and occasional same day cases. Any expectations surrounding surgery, dentistry or additional procedures will be discussed around your experience, interests and preferences.
The hospital is looking for a veterinarian who provides high quality, practical medicine and communicates clearly with clients and colleagues. Appointment volumes, working hours, support levels and clinical expectations will be discussed before shifts are confirmed, ensuring you know exactly what to expect.

About You
- DVM or equivalent degree allowing you to practise veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold an active Florida veterinary licence
- Comfortable managing routine small animal wellness and sick appointments
- Confident working independently while collaborating with the hospital team
- Strong communication skills and a client focused approach
- Dependable, adaptable and committed to providing high quality patient care
- Routine surgery and dentistry experience would be welcomed but is not essential
- Previous relief experience is beneficial, although veterinarians new to relief work are encouraged to enquire
