Animal Caretaker Jobs in Denver, CO at Crestie King
Crestie King is hiring one full-time and one part-time Animal Caretaker for our specialty reptile facility in the 73rd & Washington area of Denver. This is an in-person, hands-on role focused on consistent animal care, cleaning, organization, observation, and accurate daily records.
The full-time role requires five days each week. The part-time role requires at least two to three days each week. Both roles involve daytime shifts in the 73rd & Washington area.
What you will do
- Feed, water, clean, sanitize, and maintain reptile enclosures.
- Spend a significant part of each shift cleaning, disinfecting, organizing, restocking, and keeping care areas orderly.
- Follow written care routines and safety protocols exactly.
- Observe animal and enclosure conditions; promptly report concerns.
- Complete daily care, cleaning, and inventory records accurately.
- Work independently, manage recurring tasks without close supervision, and communicate clearly with the owner and team.
What we are looking for
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation for every assigned shift.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, follow-through, and comfort with routine work.
- Prior professional cleaning, sanitation, disinfection, organization, warehouse, or animal-care experience is a strong plus.
- Clear, respectful communication, professional response to feedback, and a team-first approach.
- Reptile experience is a plus but not required.
This is not a pet-sitting or dog-walking role. It is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes daily care routines, cleanliness, and accountability seriously.
