Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Receptionist/Kennel Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care for animals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong communication skills, organizations skills, time management, team player and passion for animal welfare, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry guests while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties
Receptionist duties, taking care of clients, answering phones, making reservations and taking payments.
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and any pertinent information.
Utilize strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries from clients and scheduling appointments.
Support the team with time management to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Proficient in clerical tasks including filing and proofreading documents.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with office management practices is a plus.
Must be able to lift and handle animals of various sizes safely.

Pay: $14.81 – $17.00 per hour
