Contact cultivates caring, which encourages conservation.You will be working around a variety of exotic animals, both small and large. Will train, but any animal experience is a plus. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits available are Health insurance & 401K plan.Tasks can include (but are not limited to):Clean and sanitize enclosures and animal areasAnimal grooming and basic health carePrepare diets, feed and water animalsMaintain facility tools and equipmentRoutine animal handlingInteraction with guests during experiencesUse the tools of animal observation, enrichment, training and other management methods to ensure the best well-being of the animals in our careUse strong interpersonal skills to form and maintain positive relationships within the work environment and during public experiencesMust be physically fit and able to work outside year round.
