Position: RCYC Launch Captain – Seasonal Role

This part-time, on-call position at the RCYC requires a passion for marine operations and customer service. As a Launch Captain, you will be responsible for safely navigating the Kwasind and Hiawatha while ensuring a memorable experience for members and guests. Adherence to safety protocols and maintenance standards is vital in this engaging role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Club-owned vessels adhering to regulations
• Help members and guests with boarding and questions
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure equipment is ready
• Monitor vessel maintenance and report issues
• Keep accurate logs of passenger and trip details
Requirements:
• Toronto Harbour License or willingness to obtain
• Marine Basic First Aid certification
• Minimum three years marine experience required
• Familiarity with repair and maintenance techniques
• Strong customer service and communication skills
