Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare local and international sourcing of APIs, raw materials, packing materials, QC chemicals, and other procurement requirements.
- Manage approved vendors; negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, and supply terms.
- Oversee import documentation, DRAP Form-5, PSW procedures, banking/LC matters, insurance, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate material planning with Production, QC, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely availability and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Monitor procurement and landed costs, market trends, and compliance with applicable SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Procurement skills, including experience managing purchasing processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor relationships.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Supplier Evaluation to assess supplier performance, reliability, quality, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate costs, and support decision-making in procurement planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an advantage.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, veterinary, or agriculture-related industries is mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with proficiency in relevant procurement software and MS Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and uphold ethical and compliance standards in procurement.
