Pharmacy Technician – Refills Call Center Jobs in Houston, TX at BCP Veterinary Pharmacy

THE REQUIRED WORK HOURS ARE 9AM UNTIL 6PM WEEKDAYS
We are seeking a friendly and organized Certified Pharmacy Technician to work in our Refills Department. This position requires extensive time on the computer and on the phone with both clients and doctor’s offices, so the ideal candidate will have call center AND data entry experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and positivity
Create customer orders using in-house prescription software (we train on-the-job for software)
Dispense prescriptions
Maintain prescription databases
Resolve inquiries concerning prescriptions and refills
Verify clients’ shipping and billing information
Respond to emails and process web-based orders
Follow company procedures and State Board of Texas regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee **please include your registration number with application** Trainees must have more than 1 year before license expires
Excellent attendance and reliable transportation
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills including active listening, speaking clearly, and phone etiquette
Accurate data entry and fast typing
Customer-focused and adaptable to different personality types
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your time
Familiarity with Windows operating system
Attention to detail
