Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets in a home environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of pets while their owners are away, providing companionship, exercise, and necessary care.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
Ensure the safety and comfort of pets in your care, monitoring their behavior and health.
Engage in playtime and exercise activities to keep pets physically active and mentally stimulated.
Maintain cleanliness in pet areas, including litter boxes, kennels, and feeding areas.
Communicate with pet owners regarding their pet’s well-being and any concerns that may arise.
Perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing fur and bathing when necessary.
Handle any emergency situations calmly and effectively, including contacting a veterinarian if required.
Requirements
Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.
Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or moving pet supplies.
Familiarity with pet grooming practices is beneficial.
Experience as a veterinary assistant or in a kennel environment is desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets.

Pay: $10.50 – $15.50 per hour
