Position: (Part-Time) Park Maintenance Worker (Afternoon Shift)

$14.45 per hour DOQ (up to 1,500 hours per year).

SHIFTEMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Eligible part‑time employees will receive up to a $5.75 per hour retention bonus for all hours worked from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Work activities in this position involve the custodial maintenance and basic maintenance of buildings, other park structures and signs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Cleans and maintains restrooms and picnic shelters throughout the park.
  • Cleans office and maintenance buildings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain.
  • Ability to get along with co‑workers, supervisors, and park visitors.
  • Will be required to work assigned special events, weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Will be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to load, unload and move materials from one location to another.
