Pool Maintenance Staff
This position will assist American Legion Park staff with general maintenance and upkeep of the American Legion Waterpark. Responsibilities include preparing the pool to open for the season in the spring, operating pool maintenance equipment and pumps, testing and monitoring pool chemicals to ensure they meet the Kentucky Health Standards, ensuring all pool equipment is operating properly and safely, assisting with the maintenance of the pool house and pool deck, assisting with the winterization of the pool in the fall, and other duties as assigned.
This position will be primarily outdoors, and may have to get in the water to perform job duties. Hours will be primarily through the week, and once the pool season starts, will include mornings and evenings on the weekends. All pool equipment and chemicals training will be provided; applicants are not required to have prior knowledge of aquatic facilities. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position.
