Interlude Pet Resort and Spa is looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking team members to join our animal care staff as a Kennel Aide Assistant.
An animal caretaker plays an important role in the health, safety, and happiness of the pets in our care. This is a hands-on, physical job that involves caring for dogs and cats throughout the day while maintaining a clean and safe environment. While the work can be demanding, it is also incredibly rewarding for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with animals and being part of a caring team.
No prior experience is necessary — we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Job Duties Include:
- Feeding and caring for pets
- Supervising and interacting with animals
- Cleaning up after pets
- Hosing and sanitizing yards and play areas
- Laundry and washing dishes
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility
- Assisting with daily kennel operations
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, bending, and cleaning
- Must be comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
- Weekends and holidays are required
Schedule:
Shifts may include:
- Full shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Half shifts:

- 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
