Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Painter role based in Lahore. The Painter will prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces within company facilities, including walls, ceilings, doors, equipment, and other structures, following safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching), mixing and matching paints, applying primers and finish coats, and ensuring clean, even, and durable finishes. The role also involves maintaining painting tools and equipment, following health and safety protocols, coordinating with maintenance and facility teams on work schedules, and documenting work completed. The Painter may support minor repair work related to surfaces and fixtures, and is expected to help keep work areas organized and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in surface preparation, paint mixing, and application using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ability to read and follow job specifications, color codes, and basic drawings or instructions for painting work.
- Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of paints, thinners, and related materials; adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Experience working in industrial, commercial, or healthcare facility environments, with attention to cleanliness and durability of finishes.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity, including the ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift moderate weights as required.
- Basic record-keeping and communication skills to coordinate tasks and report progress or issues to supervisors.
- Previous professional painting experience; vocational training or certification in painting or related trades is an advantage.
