About the Role
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Packaging Machine Operator Team Lead to lead and inspire a large team of packaging machine operators. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality packaging operations while achieving production targets and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a large team of packaging machine operators.
- Plan manpower and organize shift activities to meet production targets.
- Monitor machine operations, output, downtime, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Identify and escalate machine faults, defects, abnormalities, and production issues.
- Minimize downtime, material wastage, and operational losses.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
- Train, coach, and monitor operators on machine operation, safety, and quality.
- Maintain accurate production, shift, and performance records.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and team performance.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Proven experience leading or supervising large teams of operators within a manufacturing setup is mandatory.
- Experience working with packaging or production machines is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety.
- Demonstrated ability to manage manpower, shifts, productivity, and production targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
