Join our dedicated team as an Outdoor General Laborer to support Plant Health Care in the Lower Mainland. You’ll primarily focus on watering trees and shrubs, ensuring top-notch safety and quality.
This role is essential for maintaining vibrant landscapes while interacting with clients occasionally. As a General Laborer, you will read routes, operate water trucks, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring soil moisture and sustaining plant health through effective watering practices and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Water trees and shrubs across designated routes
• Operate and maintain water trucks and equipment
• Refill tanks and monitor site conditions
• Report tree stress signs and apply basic plant care
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment
Requirements:
• WHMIS and First Aid Certification mandatory
• Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Comfortable with outdoor physical work
• Attention to detail and safety focus
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration
