Role Description The Medical Sales Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This position is responsible for promoting Sopan Pharmaceuticals’ products to healthcare professionals, including physicians and other medical staff, through regular visits and presentations. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with medical practitioners, providing product information and clinical updates, and addressing inquiries about medicine usage and benefits. The Medical Sales Officer will monitor market trends, gather feedback from healthcare providers, and support training or educational sessions related to product use and patient care. The role also includes meeting sales targets, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely supply and support.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of medicine and pharmaceutical products, with the ability to communicate clinical benefits clearly.
- Experience or exposure to patient care settings and familiarity with healthcare workflows.
- Ability to coordinate and deliver training or product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
- Comfort working with physicians and other medical staff, with professional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field; a background in healthcare or medical sales is preferred.
- Solid interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records and reports.andb
- Willingness to travel within Kathmandu and nearby areas as required; knowledge of the local healthcare market is an advantage.
