Kennel Attendant Jobs in Denville, NJ at Barks Bed and Biscuit
We are currently looking for someone available to work our morning and mid shifts, typically between 7-2 and/or 12-5.
Prior experience working with dogs or in a pet care environment is preferred but not required for the right candidates who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with all size dogs.
There are a few responsibilities we will need for a new kennel attendant, such as:
walk, feed, and administer medications (as needed) for cats and dogs
customer interactions when dogs/cats are being dropped off and picked up.
cleaning dog runs which includes any accidents they might have, make sure their bedding gets cleaned as well.
daily cleaning/ maintenance such as sweeping, moping, dishes, laundry and picking up poop from the yard.
bathing dogs and doing nail trims (can be taught how to do so)
watching for any accidents in our play room, as well as spending time with some of the dogs and making sure they are all getting along with each other.
*we are also hiring for overnight staff* from 9PM-7AM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour
