We are looking for your talent as a Food Production Manager
This position is responsible for managing the food production teams of Rancho Cacachilas which includes the dairy and creamery, the farm and the cattle business.
The Manager of Food Production must regularly meet with the General Manager of Ranch Operations and the Manager of Tourism, to ensure that all the needs of the ranch are being met and to coordinate work plans and logistics.
The main objective of the Food Production units is to provide a diverse offering of products for Rancho Cacachilas and for its sister companies and sell to external clients what is not used internally.
The Manager of Food Production needs be innovative and driven to improve inefficiencies and reduce costs while not compromising product quality. The Manager of Food Production must have a solid foundation of all the day to day processes and needs of each sector of the business unit in order to assist team members when needed.Â
The ideal candidate for the Manager of Food Production should have the following skills/traits:
5+ years of business management experience
Experience in sustainability or regenerative forms of agriculture
Experience in the food industry
Experience coordinating with a chef, kitchen staff, and purchasing department
 High level of critical thinking and pattern recognition
Likes a challenge
Has a passion for healthy and high-quality food
Dedicated to maintaining healthy ecosystems.
Appreciation for diversity
Works well in a team
Ability to work in remote settings
A thorough understanding of sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
Bechelor´s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Veterinary or related education, masters degree desirable.
Fluent in Spanish & English
